At three thirty in the morning when sleep is evasive some strange lines enter the mind...these were mine.

Poetic Thoughts In The Wee Hours

By: Felix Perry

Vagrant circumcised thoughts

    in a world sadly obsessed

Honesty’s capabilities

    by scholars undressed

Gorged on platitudes

    like an old Aesop’s fable

Sate the poet’s obsession

    hungry at the table

Silence-censured capsule

    not abated with time

Evoked and evolved

    by the writer’s design

Illuminated iconic pixels

    trapped from my mind

Bits and bytes scavenged

    what I’ve known left behind

Kaleidoscope transgressions

    by constipated critics so wise

Write the memoirs of today

    in sweet soft core lies…

Great poetic verse is not limited to the "Old Boys" Fee.
A statement to which these lines attest.

Fee --- Great poem. Sounds a little bit like "sour grapes." but then that is probably what I'm feeling at the moment.

Bless you.

Dear Fee,

You have some great lines in here,

Vagrant circumcised thoughts

by the writer’s design
Illuminated iconic pixels
trapped from my mind

3 O'clock is the witching hours. Maybe I should try that like in the older days.

These people just don't seem to get it, do they? Tiny minds and censure erase world history. The above poets struggled more than we poets today because they didn't have all of this electronic nonsense which lets wannabe poets of today be cowards and tattletales and religious frauds and homophobes that hide behind a computer screen where they don't have to meet their adversary face to face. Poetic Thoughts of the Wee Hours give the Den a nice soft candlelight glow in your den, Felix...be well always.

Love,
Sage

"...bites and bytes scavenged...writing the memoirs of today..." like at three in the morning aren't the wee hours but the blue ones.
I call them the venom hours, when, from the darkest and inner recesses I let the venom to go out before it chockes me.
Great write!!!
Georg
