Life
By: Thomas Reginald Lee
Who has seen the wind
Who has stilled the waters sigh
Who has moved the mountains?
That stood forever high
Who has killed the sunshine
That gave us beautiful sunrays
Where are all the people
With their ever changing ways
Where are all the animals
The wild, the free and the tame
I think you know the answer
I think you feel the shame
Where are the men that ran our world
where are the women that were our wives
I’ll tell you but it’s not easy to say
They’ve all lost their lives
So before you make your decisions
That will make the very Heavens shake
Think of all the lives that will be lost
In the event of a Nuclear wake…
Thanks sweet cuz,
Selena

Your acquaintance Thomas Reginald writes with a fervor and a sense of power that cannot be denied. Very well penned, Thomas, and I hope you write more. You should come to Authorsden; we'd be glad to have you here! Thanks, Fee, for sharing this!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(
This is so felt in my core. I was as yourself, brought up during this time..It was something I have always feared a nuclear attack..You know, though, "those" people have found a new way to scare us, and the new way is much more deadly....
Peace, Love, and Light,
Amber "V"

PS Sorry for the loss mate!
We don't give a loaded pistol to a monkey, do we?
The day is coming when a "damn the torpedos" crazy man send us all flying into the cosmos in little pieces, and for what?
Tremendous poem.
