Bed posts just a knockin’ against the wall

Blissful shrieks in the night and that ain’t all

A lovely tell tale smile in the morning light

She gives me lot’s of lovin’ on Saturday night

I don’t care if I’m not rich,

I know sometimes she can be a bitch

She’s my woman and this is my life

I love my kids and I love my wife

Lawnmowers roar up and down the block

Holy mother its barely eight o’clock

Kids watching cartoons as I steal a kiss

Momma in an apron washing a dish

Reading the paper to see what’s new

Sipping instant coffee and rain’s overdue

Car needs a washing but I don’t care

Just bide my time till I can have a beer

Running errands and doing some home repair

Playing catch with the kids now I don’t care

She promised at three the TV’s mine all mine
