I'm touched by this Fee, it is indeed a treasure house, full of Past, present and Future truths, lest we worry what is the final outcome...Have a read of John, son of thunder, in fact read the 4 gospels, and feel the LOVE.

I don't think that we have to run to church every Sunday in order to be close to God. He touches us with His greatness every day. Your write shows that you have His love in your heart, Fee, and that's a wonderful and peaceful thing!
I like this write, reminds me of our own family bible, tucked neatly away somehwere in my parents house.

Yo Bro,

You know a lot of singers have recorded songs of faith, but my favorite gosble song is Willie's, "The Family Blble". Not that dad would often read to us from it, but I remember kneeling on Sunday nights for the Rosary.

The sentimental value of such a thing is immeasurable, dear Fee, and reminds us to look back at our roots and honour the spirits of our ancestors. This is a wonderful poem to read.

And what the bible holds is a legacy of life - in more ways than one. Every once in a while I look at my 'big' bible and find photos of my children from long ago. There are so many wonderful memories to be found and such great peace in ALL that is there.

Yes, yes Fee special...... the Bible did have so much more to say to you...... the ol' family heart strings....
I was raised a Catholic too: Catholic schools, Church on Sundays.
When I first had my physical 'problem' the Bible was the last place i went to for insight, liberation and refuge. Funny that hey. I did look into in again for a couple of years with a Seventh Day Adventist Pastor, but still no salvation!! Happily found it elsewhere!!

The family Bible is a record keeper for the family. It is the one place where treasures are kept from generation to generation. Our family Bible is from County Sligo Ireland and was Mariah's great, great namesake, Mariah Rowse. It is a dear treasure as is your family Bible Fee. Thanks for this dear poem.
