of an old rattler snake - I could SEE this, right at the bottom of the bed on the floor! discarded, such a strong word too! Perfectely used, with a dear Jimi T-shirt.

Sounds like a disruptive night. For me, this poem has a grouchy tone. I'm thinking that's because if I was the protagonist, I'd be grouchier than hell. Not being able to sleep gets to me because I do it so rarely. Love and Hugs,
