this poem is probably my favorite of yours! and what a fantastic image~

We can get so hooked into and on our screens that it is indeed strange to have to turn them off and realise we are in our own solitude of space within only a certain familiar set of four walls. I know I have to check behind my laptop sometimes to make sure the world isn't in micro-format hiding behind it! :)) Makes me ponder the nature of relationships both on and off-screen because sometimes it IS so much easier to hang out with and in cyber community than with those in real life who just shatter the dream. I think all us Romantics have this kind of sensation in common, Felix; we have big hearts that heave and sigh with longing - yet it also takes little to make us smile and be glad. Love your image of the lost hearts trapped on the broken-down ferris wheel - very striking and poignant. xx
