I hope the words of this great poem,
sounding like a farewell tome,
are not describing a poet with the initials FLP,
for I have missed his presence on AD.
Was that a pin I heard drop on the carpet? No? Then it must have been my imagination. Imgination is a wonderful thing, when it is used to share our words of ... whatever ... with whomever shall read them. Yes, Felix, I do agree that words scattered on the wind do fade out like a mid summer song creating a deafening silence so loud, the ears cannot hear it. This ethereal poem makes the reader stop and think, at least for this reader it does. Thank you for sharing.

... such a feeling of loss and transience on the one hand, and yet the in perpetuity of "going where others have trod" on the other. Are all our words written on the wind or do they endure? Like all things of spiritual dimensions, they are personally retained and yet passed from one to another like a baton. Not just black and white marks on a page, Felix; your words live on person to person in the soul, spirit and heart. xx

Stunning work, you have wrapped in every bend emotions felt as you travel down that path, looking back you have left quite a trail, but there are new ones to pave...onward one step at a time, whatever they may bring, I just hope they are happy ones Fee!
