I wrote this poem for my next door neighbor who helps us watch our cats. We sometimes take care of their poodle, Osito. We lovingly call him "The Attack Dog." Enjoy!

Osito "The Attack Dog" We come quietly to the door of Peggy and Jack. We ring the bell and all of a sudden, we are under attack! Why it’s our friend Osito, who loves to jump and bark. He flies though the air to greet you, just like a Lark. As he comes through the door, Osito wants to play and kiss. He gives unconditional love; he is not afraid to take risk. We are overwhelmed by his character and his smile. We ponder, should we go or should we stay a little while? It’s hard to have a quick visit at the house of Peggy and Jack.
