Our World War II GI’s. are slowly fading away.
 

They sacrificed like no one else.
 

We should honor them, while we still can today.
 

I knew a Disabled American Vet, who was a very dear friend.   

We went to a concert and listened to old songs

that were popular, way back when. 
 

There were many smiles, and there were many tears.

The old tunes brought memories

of the past and the good old years.

It was indeed an honor to stand beside

my hero and my friend.

The band played  “America the Beautiful”

and we sang along until the very end. 

“Thank you for your sacrifice.”

“Thank you for giving your all.” 

America salutes you!
 

Amen, Amen and AMEN!
