Jesus Christ said; "Love your enemies” but you know we would rather hate them instead.

Jesus Christ said; “Do good to those who hate you” but seeing them, we feel dread.

Jesus Christ said; “Do good to those who hate you” but we love to hate them instead

Jesus Christ said; “Bless those who curse you” but we curse them under our breath.

Jesus Christ said; “Pray for those who mistreat you."

The truth is we don’t want to pray for our enemies before we go to bed.

The words of Jesus are in red; our flesh is written in grey.

But this would be a better world if the red letters had their way.

Jesus came so we can have life, so let us walk with Him.

We can have a future in eternity walking with The One that’s free from sin.
