Please Stop - Adopt, Don’t Shop at the Pet Store Anymore! Can you imagine being a pet forced live your entire life in a small filthy wire cage alone? Can you imagine the pain and loss by never being able to raise a family to love and call your own? Can you imagine what it’s like not to be cared for and force to live in your own waste? Can you imagine anyone who would have a heart could ever put you in such a place? Such is the life in Pet Mill Breeding Mills that are there because people are unaware. But now you know that this is what goes on behind the scenes of our local Pet Store. So every time we purchase a pet, the Pet Mill goes on producing MORE and MORE! Please tell everyone you know to Stop, Adapt and please don’t Shop at these Pet Stores anymore! Thanks for this John. It's too painful to think about, but we have to find a way to stop it as we have to stop killing babies. Everyone needs to see what happens in both cases.

I'm with you and Mr. Ed. There is absolutely no reason to go to a pet store to obtain a pet when so many are homeless. Modern suburbia is obsessed with convenience and acquiring things. Pet stores are very adept at displaying �cute� little animals for our pleasure. I am appalled at the idea that we can collect pets like we collect stamps or coins. So many become hoarders of animals and it is sickening to see what happens when there are too many. What possesses us to be so cruel in the name of love? I don't know, but we are pretty sick to think we can keep animals when we can't.

I have been a dog (and cat) lover and owner most all of my life. I have never bought either one from a pet store or puppy mill. My pets are all adopted and are all part of our family. Thanks for making others aware of this horrible and cruel practice. Very well done.
