Dear Friends,
I grew up in the projects of NYC.
In public school my best friend was black, his name was Gregory Ward.
In middle school my best friend was Hispanic, Louis Torres.
In high school my best friend was Jewish, Marvin Markman.
I am now an older Italian dude, I am olive.
But I judge a person by their character.
Folks like Harry Reid and Nancy P are NUTS!
They talk too much "trash" and are an embarrassment to the USA.
Biden is from another planet. He will be remembered for his mistakes.
Our president, I don't really know who or what he is.
Unfortunately Romney has some character flaws that could disqualify him for office as well.
Is this the BEST we can come up with?
I was in the USAF for 24 years.
In my career I met good commanders and great natural leaders.
Almost all could have been GREAT Commanders in Chiefs.
What has happened to our leadership?
They lie so much that I don't think THEY know what TRUTH is!
I am looking for the next JFK, FDR, Ronald Regan or Lincoln.
Let me know when you find one of them.
Until then I morn for our nations future.
However, I salute our Veterans.
They earned leadership positions.
God Bless Them All.

While everybody seemed to like Grant and definitely liked Ike, like Washington, I don't think military leaders necessarily make good leaders of the country. Military leadership is a different kind from civilian leadership. Colin Powell is an excellent man that perhaps should have had a shot at the presidency. I commend him for coming out and evenly stating what the past four years was like and why he supported the president. Even with his intelligence, he was duped into going before the United Nations to get us into another war costing thousands of military and civilian death, and putting our country into deficit.

I do not have the answers to why these things have happened, but I prayed that God would put the right man in place that would protect Isreal.
I try to remember Phil 4:6 Don't worry about anything pray about everything tell God your needs and don't forget to thank him for his answers and the peace that passes all understanding will guard your heart and soul in Christ Jesus.
It isn't up to us, it is our obedience that God sees of mankind. Stay the course and don't give up, God sees the heart of every man and when it does not please him, remember what happened to God's people being delivered from Egypt, he opened up the earth and they were consumed by the wrath of God. Keep looking up, it has only just begun!

My first husband was an officer and pilot is the United States Navy and over the 22 years he served I was priveleged to know many men who would make an excellent choice for the Presidency. Unfortunately to run it takes money and connections and many do not have that.
We are being tested John! I believe that God is allowing the USA to stew in it's juices. My prayer is that the evil doers will fade away and that God's people will come forth in large numbers.
I also salute our veterans and military, they are the backbone of our land. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Bless You!
