I wrote this poem to my daughter Lisa so she would know that daddy loves her no matter what.

Always remember that daddy loves you, even though I am so far away Always remember daddy loves you, even though you have gone your own way On the day you took your first steps I was there to protect you every now and then But even though you are grown up now, I still want to protect you again and again The road is long and there are so many ways in which to fall But now you will have to experience life with your family and see through it all I will be here if you need me; in the meantime I will pray I pray you will be directed by God’s Divine Guidance along the way Just remember daddy loves you, even though I am so far away Just remember daddy loves you, even though you have gone your own way Love, Dad Copyright © 2013 by John Michael Domino, All Rights Reserved.

Dearest John Michael,
This poetry is truly tender and Divine.
To me, it sounds like either a pre- or a post-Wedding poem, when you had to release her.
Your daughter is very blessed to have a father such as yourself.. there is no doubt in my mind that your faith has bled into the very fabric of her life, as well.. I shall join you with prayers for her and her own family now :)
