helped my granddaughter bring home a little treasure!

She wanted to buy, “That Little Puppy in the Window” the other day

 She loved that pup and was determined have her way!

First she asked me for help to make her dream come true

I did'nt want to be dictator and tell her what to do

 So I referred to a Pet Rescue Expert, Y-O-U!

E-mailed her your poem about “Don’t Shop, Adopt” and asked her to read more...

It took three days before she answered me

but she finally agreed to adopt a puppy

instead of buying one from the store.

RESULT: An orphaned pet was provided a loving home in the end.

Thank you Mr. Ed;

you made it happen, my friend!

Dear Dad,

 “We finally gave into Rayana' pleas for a dog and adopted a 3 month old puppy at a local animal shelter today. Meet the newest member of our family - Padre - a chihuahua and dachshund mix with cute little doe eyes, a non-stop wagging tail and a lot of puppy energy. 

Mama Rayana is having a blast, but already admits that taking care of a baby dog is a lot of work!

Padre is the name given to him at the shelter, and for now, we think it suits him!”
