Sometimes my mind goes completely BLANK
I need more cash but there is so little in the BANK
When I was little my parents yelled but my hearing went BLANK
I was told to work hard and to save my money in my piggy BANK
On test in school we were told to fill out answers in the BLANKS
Sometimes we would give blood and they stored it in blood BANKS
If I drive when I am tired my vision seems to go BLANK
Sometimes I relax and drive down to the river BANK
I drove down town but I forgot why. My mind went completely BLANK
So I finally withdrew some cash from the BANK with my BLANK check
As for BANKS and cash – money comes and quickly goes
But there is only one thing we can all BANK on:
The Lord Loves us so ____________________________
Please fill in the BLANK….
We can take His Unconditional Love - all the way to His Heavenly BANK!
Amen!
2015, John Michael Domino
Well - that is an interesting approach for a poem?
I guess I could try it sometime?
Now as to your Punchline... OH How He Loves us!
I did not always believe that?? [And doubts do persist?]
But thanks for reminding us all the same!
