A Poem From a Grateful Veteran

The Veteran's Entrepreneurship Program recently received large donations to help Veterans in my community to get their new businesses off the ground. I was asked by the director of the program to write a "Thank You" note. With their blessing I decided to write this poem instead.

A Poem from A Grateful Veteran

 

It’s not always easy to accept a monetary gift

 Because for a good cause I would rather GIVE

 

But I appreciate your donations to Veterans because  

this benefits us Veterans right where we live!

 

I must say “THANK YOU” one and all for

helping us Veterans in so many ways

 

All Veterans will certainly join me in saying,

“We are grateful more than words can ever say”

Major John, very happy for you and your veterans in the neighborhood!Since your life has been a blessing for others, God has blest you back. Alleluia!! I have been trying for years to get funds to open a, Performing Arts Center for Children & Senior! Capture the children before they go to jail & and Seniors because they still have a lot to contribute!
