Who am I, really?
Am I really the person I see?
Do I truly know myself?
Or is there another Me?
Sometimes I wonder…
Why am I really here?
What is my real purpose?
It would be nice if that were clear!
I know who I am not
or try not to be.
I don’t want be one that
steps up a ladder to be a bigger me.
I care for the students whom I mentor!
They are the reason for me.
For if they are successful,
I’m very content and happy!
It really matters very little…
If I get credit for doing stuff.
What matters most to me is
making a diamond out of
one who was very rough
So, it’s good to know thy self,
and know there is a reason for me.
My purpose is to simply
help another person
be ALL they can possibly be!
That’s just ME!

"Who Am I, Really?"
This composition stimulates awareness of ontologic nature, and leads one to cerebrate on the human being most ancient question. "Who Am I, Really?" has delivered its questions and points to be pondered with a maieutical poetic voice.
