I was inspired to write this poem after watching the movie, "I Can Only Imagine."

Perseverance is tough to do. Why? There will be tough times we don't want to go through. So, what should we do? Persevere! Take a stand and fight! They say, "Tough times don't last!" Yes, THEY got that one right! Why? Because after all of the crap, we have been through. NOT giving up is the BEST thing we can do! Persevere! It's worth it, and then start a new! 3/19/18 JMD

While not everyone is able to persevere and fall by the wayside, I think there is a natural tendency to try to hold on and keep things together during tough times. And then we can congratulate ourselves for having made it through when times get better.
