Dedicated to the children this world has lost to the hands of their parents and caretakers.
A Teardrop in the Rain A little girl comes home from school Walked in the door and broke the rule I guess the smile on her face Made her mama feel out of place A little boy just like the rest Accidently passed the test I guess the good grades he could make Was just too much for his pa to take When you look up in the sky A tiny rain will pass you by A tiny drop falls on your face And it seems to be so out of place Another teardrop in the rain And for every raindrop there is a teardrop The children�s tears are pouring down The silent cries are falling �round Another teardrop on the ground It�s another teardrop in the rain A search is on for a local child A little one, so meek and mild A mama�s wrath came raging down And people cry all over town A teenaged boy has took his life He couldn�t deal with all his strife He left a note and closed the door It was peace he was looking for When you look up in the sky A tiny rain will pass you by A tiny drop falls on your face And it seems to be so out of place Another teardrop in the rain And for every raindrop, there is a teardrop The children�s tears are pouring down The silent cries are falling �round Another teardrop on the ground Another teardrop in the rain And for every raindrop, there is a teardrop The children�s tears are pouring down The silent cries are falling �round Another teardrop on the ground Another teardrop in the rain Just another teardrop in the rain �2004PublishAmerica/Levi�s Lace

This touches the reader with the heart and pain the poet pens this poem with the greatest loss is life and that of children. Beautiful poem. And Tribute to all the children lost.

Beautifully done...and a definite Oprah moment. There is nothing worse than child abuse...or abuse of any living thing. We are a long way from ideal, however, as a people.
