Poem Artwork

Behind this mask of illusions, lies woman of light
Eyes feel elongating pain, enter my realm
Reflections of she
Grasping to you again again

Behind the mask of light carries life
Enveloped with many dreams unanswered
The feathery wings which carry forgotten soul
Memories reveal hardships and kindred flames

Behind this menagerie of circus lines
absurdity , judgments of everyday core
Happiness,cabaret, cameras in vogue
To serve, loft natural state

So vesper in lost nonsense of time
Canopy's covert the hideaway to his loft
My mask is protections of the words thoughts
Canvassed , silvery net of promises

Some have a need to operate on illusion. I like reality where the only fear is something that would really harm and life all around me growing and changing.

The mystery of what lies behind the mask may be just another mask that we wear.Sometimes to fool others, sometimes to fool ourselves.

Masks can be interesting things that hide entire world behind as you so beautifully display in this poem. John
