Time changes perceptions.

Poem Artwork

To the young, beauty,

is something to see.

For the eyes to behold,

a pictorial, tapestry.

As one ages, and matures, like good wine;

the concept of beauty, wisdom, itself, helps to redefine.

The adage, that beauty is as beauty does,

the young, choose to ignore.

How can a verb, such a noun replace?

Why just look at the beauty,

in that body, and face.

But sooner or later the clichés, start to
win.

Actions, do, speak, louder than words,
and, credence is given to: the beauty,
within.

Wonderful done! We have met a lot of beautiful people who's beauty was just growing with every wrinkle added, just because their actions were so gentle and caring.

"Actions do speak louder than words"

An old axiom that has more relevance now, and is more maligned now, than ever before.

I've never quite grasped the fact that people are so enthused with a beautiful present and the exotic and colorful bows just to get to the inside for their needs . Then with people they are attracted to the superficial nd not the beauty inside. The core of anything is the nucleus for beauty. I like this one Art!

A most excellent piece Art, very accurate in terms of aging…. Too bad we when youth hold our name, that we cannot see the truth in life’s game.
