musings after the storm.

Poem Artwork

My mirror shows my shoulders, much wider than before

My stature over all, seems larger, and my eyes return, to me;

A countenance of, His, loving strength, His, Holy Spirit, at my core.

The blame still hurts, the betrayal, leaves it's scar,

But without the trials in this life, our souls won't get too far.

So even in a time of rue, and when your heart cries for release

Never doubt He's nearer than you think, and is only waiting on you

to accept His ways and take His awesome, Holy, peace.

You can't refine gold, without the polishing; and the grit will cause some pain

But He always uses all, for your growth, in Him, and tragedy, brings gain

As you walk with Him,  He'll bring you, surly and readily;

to a place of growth, where pain turns to joy, loss turns to gain,
Not only in your mirror, but for all the world to see!

Dear Art,

So much truth in this peace. I have learned when God is the quitest he is right next to you.... And He never is late. This much I know of God :). It is true he uses the pain for us to recover the gain the growth we need. Jesus sacrificed his all and it was painful many times. We always rush to ask to be blessed but not to hurt or suffer, we are freely given life eternal for his pain....We can learn to suffer from his examples.... He will raise our growth standard with each challenge. This is fantastic ROCK- Art your instruction and wisdom of your faith in God is golden nuggets....

Love ya More m Christ Brother , Bless ya,

Joselyn
