With a loud
clanking clamor, the
vehicle rolled to a stop; a
pungent reek of burnt metal
hung in the air.
Angrily,
he jumped
out, slammed the
door, and paced a while…
Some males lose their cool
when they don’t feel in control.
Now, his sensible self began splintering.
For a while his mind was like a lump of death;
a chaos of clay hardening in the paralyzing grips
of circumstance. The dark night was devouring him;
he was stranded smackdab in the middle of nowhere,
with no way to communicate.
.
“Damn cellphone battery,” he hissed, “what now?”
.
Broodingly,
he observed, in a
long sweeping gaze,
the muzzy silhouette
of a lone
cottage in the distance…
.
‘Maybe I could get help there.’
His thoughts quickened.
Locking his vehicle, he strode off.
.
As he neared,
an upstairs shade
was lifted suddenly, and
a warm splash of golden light
spilled out into a charcoal night…
.
As if by magic,
a woman appeared in a
gilded-glow of candlelight.
Unreserved
in her manner;
she drifted across
the man’s senses as a
musky persuasion moistened
him in a swirl of seduction…
.
Utterly, his
mind yielded
to the rage of her,
and like a phantom
he maneuvered nearer…
.
‘Neath the open window
(and being concealed now in the
shadows of a sprawling Black Walnut)
he gazed up at a moist body
radiant in pastel hues,
wet strands of hair
hanging limply,
droplets of water,
like brooding adamants,
glistening at hairs end,
and then…,
plummeting down silently
towards a darkened cleavage.

Carefully, she patted dry the
water beading on her velvet flesh.
Toweling softly her shoulders and breasts,
she moved down her

“Where are you my darling?” He heard her whisper as she moved from sight.
