I awoke this Sunday Morning, the sky was gray
There was light snow falling to begin the day
It seemed that February was reluctant to end
It had more blustery weather it wanted to send
I watched out my window as the snow floated about
The month announced that it still had a wintry clout
Then I noticed the suns light as it shined through
The clouds soon parted as the heavens turned blue
The breeze was still blustery but the sun shone bright
As the clouds dissipated much to my delight
As the month ends and the month of March draws near
We’ll weather its blustery winds for soon spring will be here
The trees will once again be garbed with leaves of green
There will once more be flowers of many colors to be seen
This is a part of the cycle of life from year to year
It is Gods gift to man, a gift which we must in our hearts hold dear
