My mind calls you in the night
My mind calls you and I want to take flight
To some other garden of sweet delight
And I'll never fall in love again

Sweetest Delight

Can it be coincidence

Or does love find you

When least expected?

A blind-sided connection

Of soul seeking soul

An unexplainable scenario

Out of the cloudless blue…

A preordained encounter…

Match made in Heaven

Only He could explain?

Words guarded, yet

Exchanged in time,

Yielding to the insatiable

Itch of curiosity…

Wanting and ravenous

Scratching for more.

A dance of  minds on tip-toes

So as not to bruise or scuff

Or tread on sacred ground too soon.

Casual banter in exchange

Lends way to conversation

Soothing sounds of voices

In accent aching to be heard

Arousing and suggestive punctuation

Of each other’s sentences…

Subtle exclamation!

Flirtation casts it’s spell

Suggestive eyes define

Inevitable connection

In narrow,  moonlit pathways

Mossy soft and lined with ancient stone

Hands entwined through gardens of emotion…

Each blossom an endearment

Evocatively expressed bouquet.

In sensuous anticipation,

Arresting hearts,

Tender and tempestuously exposed.

Skip beats…lure and invite temptation

Touch… and taste as lips surrender

Kissed  with the promises

Of sweetest delight.

This is truly the "sweetest delight" anyone can experience. New love is born when least expected and takes us to a special place where two hearts commune within. Your talent to perceive and convey these feelings of love is quite amazing! Your work reflects your inner beauty in a powerful way. I love this poem!

This makes me think of internet connections more than traditional links. Where more is put into motion than the physical. The mind is a powerful aphrodesiac.......:)

You have a great ability to write about sensuality. I can feel the passion in your heart. Your poetic soul is exposed in these beautiful words.

You effectively describe the "path of love" that can be followed, Taylor. Thank you for sharing this gift. Love and peace to you,

Such a vivid and descriptive poem that aptly chronicles the progression of love from the early stages of attraction to its first form of expression. I loved reading this.

Don't look for love in oneself.
Look for it in an another.
Cos you don't direct love,
love directs you...

Taylor

Your emotive and powerful words are like a flowing river, strong and contained within itself, finding every nook and cranny of the river bank of love and life, with the inherent capacity, to increase or decrease the flow, and always conducive to the natural rhythm of a sincere, loving and mature essence...

And sugar coated with pleasure...:)

Loved it Taylor !

What are the words? Passionate, elegant, sensous and heated desire all wrapped up and packaged so others can find themselves in your verse. A most excellent write, Taylor, and I expect to see more of the passion within your pen come to light in the future. You have a rich talent for romantic and passionate writes.
Peace and Love....

Love. Much has been said. Much will be said. (I) say, love is a reflection of ourself, we see what we want to see, what we desire, what WE are. Sometimes we see ourselves on the way down. Still, after sayng that, (I) say, it is the best thing that has happened since fire.

it's no coincidence...it's meant to be...but then I am a hopeless romantic! Still, it happened to me. This is a thought provoking and hope-filled poem!
