This beautiful Haiku and photo with colors so bright burst forth as if they are on fire against the grey stone wall; they seem to jump off the page. You have created something here that moves my thoughts to the ones I love and reminds me of how our lives are "festooned and twined" but from within the foundations that hold us fast, we reach out to touch the things we yearn for, even if they seem beyond our grasp -those things which for the most part remain unspoken and thus "bittersweet." You always make me think when I read your work, Taylor. Thank you for this reminder that we must extend ourselves out from the walls that bind us and reach beyond them.
