Your timing is a definite bullseye, Ron... I'm just in from work. I never aspired to be a CEO but who knew I'd still be oiling the little wheel that goes round and round, still a little rat, racing to square one, over and over. Whew.

On the other hand, there are those, poor things, who might read this and wonder what the problem is. Nobody can control my mind... nobody can dent my imagination. I remain a pretty cheery character, scrappy, aware and never the shrinking violet. Whether I worked in a fancy office or at the counter of McDonald's, I'd be the one in the bosses face, fighting to make it better for everybody. I've taken your painfully perfect commentary verses to my heart... a needed-to-be-said work. It's effective, indeed! katy xox.

You pictured it perfectly, Ron, but we have to strive to have extraordinary thoughts. Wonderful insights and rhyme as always.

Lock and load!!! but heck!! it wasn't a bullet...it turned out to be a moving mouse. Yep! That's life. Never take it for granted and never EVER think you see what is there. Your poem gives testimany to these statements. Today has been one of those mundane days...dreary...finished my obligations early and then my creative side became too lazy to do anything but watch some French flick with sub titles. Your poem got me up with the realizatuion that I was in this pattern too.
Thanks!!!
Susan

Hi Ron:

That is why the movie "MATRIX" was such a hit. People lived in computer generated perfect virtual realities where dreams were not dreams; and realities were only an "out of yourself experience".

Are we all in MATRIX yet?

Ron, really right on, fortunately I have no children, but then again without them I cannot get out of work early...a semi-free prison is better than a real one any day...Find Peace, Ed & Rufuz
