genuineness is a rarity and being capable of seeing through a sham of character is a lesson many learn too late ... what's even more discouraging is those who take the time and effort to create this illusion of self ... they either get a kick out of it or are extremely insecure of their own persona ...
Whew!!! I guess you told them, Ron! I think it is easy for people to be phoney here on the net, to let their fantacies become their reality and to offer them up to others. I have known many in the real world, as well, who believe so little in themselves that they create a false persona for those that they meet, hoping that they will be accepted. Where do they find the time for that stuff??? Quite a rant here, Ron.

This - in my estimation - is a right-on overview of the con artists that proliferate on the inter-net, and everywhere else. Those vacuum cleaner salesmen that sell vacuums already full of dirt - so to speak.
It is so easy to be "shmoozed" in this world if you are not aware, and there is always someone out there to take advantage of this. Excellently written, with a message that should be understood and appreciated.
