Exaggerated

A review of his new book was slightly overrated,
the report of his demise was a bit too premature.

His life of exploits will be likewise exaggerated,
of that we can be sure.

Always on the right side,
to cast off any doubt.

The expletives will be deleted,
and the hyperbole will be fleshed out.

Ladder climbers all in the perfect fight,
carefully building rungs of bogus right.

To complement their fear of light,
upon their feats so shameless.

A personality cult of bloated proportion,
filled with jackass and elephantile doubt.

Enough hot air for global warming,
that one pinprick would let out.

So if you float a trial balloon,
on the resume of fame.

Hackers will get your goods,
and expose you in the game.

Keep your exaggeration to yourself,
and keep your own good name.

You can only assimilate information and recall it from your own points of reference, which is why the story sounds different from each perspective. Element of truth in most everything. Depends on your truths. That's the scary part. Some are so twisted it's pathetic.

Good to read you again.

Ah, yes, I have known those who embellish their stories. Which always sound good the first time you hear them. then when in the company of others you hear a slightly different version of the same, and if you know them a bit longer it amazes me how some details change. I was told they did it because it entertains others. It didn't impress me much. Good write. Lady J

Do What Matters Most by William Cottringer

This book summarizes life's ten toughest tests with ten passwords each to pass these tests. The current overload, speed of change and chaos are all summarized well enough to get to the Land of Simple on the other side quicker than usual.

Anoka Time Vol. 2 Anoka Treatment Center Walls Crying out Drapetomania by Dr. Patrick ODougherty

Slaves who fled their masters were classified as insane. This term came from Dr. Samuel Cartwright who was an apologist for slavery in the pre-Civil War era. This release of my Anoka Time file is a look at slavery in the modern context of Minnesota N
