A little chemistry…

Heavy metal days, heavy metal nights, rock until you roll, express your rights. Uranium on the black market, to set your soul to glee. Uranium in your cranium, from the dust is free. Gold hung around your neck, is sure to weigh you down. So when your ship capsizes, you will surely drown. Platinum pierces your private part, taken from its tattooed heart. Makes you part of the scene, cheated when it turns to green. Swords are on your table, eat all the fresh fish you're able. Before you act like the Mad Hatter, dip your catfish in the batter. Get the lead out, old paint. But for the children, it's too late. If there were real lead in your pencil, writers couldn't even stencil. Arsenic and old lace, in your coffee without a trace. Alzheimer's blamed when you die, can't wipe that smile from her face. Rock on until the day you die, heavy metal is in the water, earth and sky. Copyright 2010 © Ronald W. Hull 9/18/1

Aw man in my coffee? I do like canned tuna and yes I know about the mercury potential, but my coffee? And now you tell me my nut stud may have implications. Great because my nipple ring was starting to itch anyway. They said the damn thing was 24k plated...hmmmm was that gold or plutonium...gotta go check the receipt. Patrick

Ron, "Heavy Metal" rocks beyond its musical genre. Heavy metals polluting every inch of earth. Hg in the water, in the fish, in you and I. Lead everywhere except the kid's pencils. Sulfur dioxide from the stacks into the air, everywhere sulfuric acid laced lungs. Rock while you can roll when you must. Before long the heavy metals gonna turn us into dust. Mad hatters loaded with mercury from plying their trade. Dioxins in the rivers. Killing all the fishes livers. A chemistry lesson brought to you by corporate ringers killing us with their toxic zingers. This is a great piece of work Ron. Rock and roll, and heavy hitters mixing it up with heavy metal.
