"The quality of mercy is not strain'd,
It droppeth as the gentle rain from heaven
Upon the place beneath…."
– Shakespeare

Poem Artwork

Quality

The quality of your presence,
is like the gentle misting dew.
Awakening each morning,
to sweet kisses from you.

The quality of a relationship,
is not measured from without,
but nurtured in cooperation,
even when in doubt.

The quality of nature is imbued,
in its survival code,
only the strong survive,
to pave the natural road.

The quality of a government,
is in its peoples' hand.
To alter or abolish it,
one must take a stand.

The quality of a work,
is not in what it sells for,
but in the care that was taken,
to make it better than before.

The quality of life,
is not in making money.
But in a feeling of fulfillment,
in this land of milk and honey.

We all should strive for quality,
in what ere we seek to do,
for where we find quality,
we find a better you.

Quality is...what a human spirit and moral sense
of"right" and "wrong"...does.
Poetic lines filled with hope!

Kudos! To those who've inspired this meaningful
writing. A world of difference.

Striving for excellence to make an experience a relationship or a product better than the last make little "q" and integral part of "Q" and goes hand in hand with the quest for constant improvement. I recall these things from days in the Crosby Quality College many years ago. I like the way you delivered the message Ron. May peace and love be always with you my friend. Jon Michael

One of your more meaningful. An encouraging theme, good imagery, and all laced together with threads of altruism, strength, and courage. I agree with your summation. Peace...

Not bad for a poet of your years,
Alleviating all if not some of my fears,
To be honest though I would like to instead test the quality of beers,
While enjoying the company of my drunken peers...-e-

and this is a quality piece of work,

Ron,

The entire poem speaks words of beauty, but the last verse speaks words of beauty as no others. You just get better and better as time moves on. Have a blessed day, Ron. I think of you often.

The simple truth in a quantity-based world. Folks get focused on how much stuff they have. we even put our so-called valuables in storage and never look at the and yet all we need is so close. God one my man, excellent.

There's a lot of wisdom in this write. We all need to be reminded of these examples of "quality".

Love ya!
