Luck
We all are subject to the luck of the draw,
if it weren't for bad luck, some wouldn't have luck at all.
I have been favored by both in my days.
Luck has played a tremendous role in my ways.
But who can tell what the twist of fate,
will bring to a life, before it's too late?
Some rely on fortunetellers and seers,
some use God, and some on their peers.
But it makes no difference on what you rely,
the twist of fate just acts; it does not reply.
There but good fortune, go you or I.
Our best laid plans often go awry.
So if you think you can beat it in the draw,
you'll be on the wrong side of Parkinson's law.
So I'm writing this poem to declare my good luck,
I'm here only by good fortune; won't pass the buck.

The shock can sometimes linger after such an event, and projecting your thoughts into a poem, I am sure will be most beneficial and therapeutic for you...
My best wishes,
Diana....
I'm glad you got out of your pickle.

I was once pinned underneath a moving vehicle because it has caught the backflap of my jacket and drew me all the way to underneath the vehicle. I was waiting for the most painful moment to happen, then sudenly the vehicle stopped moving. I lay there and said aloud to God. I said, "Well God! I guess this is it. I'm coming to meet you now."
No sooner had I said that I felt the vehicle was moving in the opposit direction, and thus freeing me and my jacket. As the vehicle was completely away from my body, I stood up and everyone was surprised to see me there in the middle of the road. My jade bangle bracelet had broken in two halves; but I was okay except for the bruises on my lower back and the scrapes on my knees. I was glad to have been still alive!! Guess God said it wasn't my time yet.

to life and limb. I assume your van is mostly cosmetic, rather than mechanical?
T'would appear that you were able to Flick the "Fickle Finger of Fate" right back . her? If only Life had a Remote Control ... Stop - Rewind - Start - Pause - Adjust - Fast Forward ... eh Wot ?
As Rev Swindoll was apt to say: "Attitude ... it is the one String we have with which to play... how we React to that which happens to us..." That is what is most critical.
Peace ... and ... Good Fortune ... Obviously, "The FORCE" was with you !
and every breath is like milk and honey
Peace be with you
William
Glad you and your passengers didn't get hurt! We never know when we leave the house what's going to happen. Be safe, always.

God Blessed you out of a mess.
There is no luck involved. God has a perfect plan for you.
He has plans to prosper and make you blessed beyond belief.
One day you will see it and believe it too.
It will take some time and you will know just what to do.
Amen my friend,
