The Wesley Methodist Church in my hometown burned on September 3, 2018 of currently, unknown, causes started in the kitchen (Act of God?). The oak pews, probably 100 year old, certainly contributed to the heat of the fire, requiring the firemen to break through the roof and tear down the brick walls to get the fire out. (Video)
Fake Pews
Fakirs are in the marketplace,
fakers are hidden in the pews.
For there is no differentiated magic,
for those who spread the good news.
Moslems do away with pews altogether,
so their knees can be abused.
Bowing down is universally required,
self flagellating humility is used.
But then, Moslems are all about abuse,
honor killing walking in Mohammed's shoes.
Priests are called "father" for good reason,
with selective celibate controlling views.
Men create books like the Mormon,
conveniently putting their women to use.
But it's all about power and money,
that Rome wants to control and use.
Theological schism over Jesus's views,
creating twisting scripture used.
Evangelical pulpit pounders proclaim,
restrictions upon the views of blues.
Politicizing religion for government's use,
controlling the masses conveniently amused.
Turning ideology inside out with,
protectionist policy simpleton news.

I am aghast at how churches have become so politicized. I remember having the same kinda thoughts back when I was growing up. I go by what Richard said, except I did write my biography. I'm honest when I say, I truly do not listen to them. Republicans or Democrats. When I cast my vote I cast it for the party, not the man or woman who is running. I'm wrong you say? Maybe I am, but I am not as swept away or as disappointed as are those who but their trust in the ones who are running..
Left the place in the lurch,

There is another religion (and I don't want to make specification openly, but NOT the Christians, because they are being used as well) behind all this and the west and the middle east are being manipulated into wars. All wars are man-made. It's the biggest boost of the economy because of the making of weapons. Before a war would start all World leaders would get together and they plan in advance and know exactly how they would plan a war and what country and race would be genocide. Syrians have been the victims of a planned genocide.
Trust me, the Muslims are not the terrorists! They have been manipulated and provoked into doing harmful stuff to themselves and others. That is how wars get started. Most often, those ones who sit aside, seemingly not getting involved nor say anything are the ones who are the manipulators. Just think about it now who is the quietest of all not getting involved in all this and you'll have the answer.
I'm in Canada and I'm looking at your political picture from the outside looking in, I'm getting a much clearer picture of what is going on.
As usual, your poem is good for reading, it flows well.
