Boat at Sunset © .tagalong in Thailand Float Your Boat Float your boat, on the placid sea, full of hope and tranquility. Seeking more equality, for all the world's citizenry. Face the world, your fears unfurled, eyes opened wide, to know you tried. Live the honest way, each and every day, peace will come to stay, and pain will go away. Keep your emotions real, do not let them steal, the way you really feel, behind a wall of steel. To your own self be true , as sure as the sky is blue, okay to be a different hue, as long as it's the true you. Copyright 2023 © Ronald W. Wow, Ron! This could be a fabulous bedtime story for a youth. It�s a prayer in my eyes. It is what I would have loved to teach my children to recite � to pull from their pockets as their pockets got bigger. It�s a beautiful worry stone. A mantra. Stanza #3 is my favorite. Those four lines carry the �holy grail� of peace itself for me. Honesty feels to me to be a form of �relief,� and the ��pain will go away,� may not be the physical or heart pain, but the mother-stone of truth itself. Kudos with this poem, Ron. ~~ djl
