This tribute I have written for my special friend Gail and was approved by her, for you her beloved family and friends to help give you peace.
I feel my life slip by me, I realize just how wonderful it has been to know love so great from all who have entered here within my heart, you will never be forgotten, you will be with me forever
As I hear the birds sing melodiously outside my mind, I feel the gentle warm breezes as it wraps itself around my body reminding me that I am still here and not alone
I have been so blessed in this lifetime, I could not dare to ask for more without feeling the guilt of greed
As I prepare to make my trip Home, all I ask is to be remembered with love and kindness as I roam
I want all to remember, Life it is beautiful and yet I am anxious to be welcomed into my Father's arms to yet an even more wonderous life free from illness and pain
To once again run through the tall grass and feel the wind in my hair, to again be young, carefree and filled with vitality, to once again know my Father's tender care
When you feel a soft cool breeze touch your skin like that of a butterflies gentle kiss, you feel my presence watching over you, caressing you, don't be afraid it is only me I will always be near.

Beautiful is the only thing which comes to mind. This has to be a very comforting present you have given your driend . . . Outstanding . . .
Very well done Lina, this is a treasure and one I am sure your friend and her family, friends and loved ones will treasure and help ease their pain. You don't post poetry often but when you do you come up with beautiful pieces you should be proud of.
