Poem Artwork

As I behold my Crimson dreams fading
into indigo, I shed a tear for the brief
affair, just ended when the sun suspended

Now, shall I presume to induce the moon to
shine with hues opalescent that I may lose
myself in it's cresent, while I recall bygone
days of your essence

I have come full circle into a realm of
make-believe for reality was too costly
to conceive, so I slowly scour the twilight
hour, recalling the feel of the power with
which you devoured me

I align myself with supernal days and nights
so I can remember our delights, as we played
among stars, and other empyrean places where
appetites were sated on the isle of embraces

We combined our cosmic caresses with the
mystical madness of melodica played in the
symphonic scores of the masters, of which
you my dear, played the finest

Now I wait... will I ever again see the likes of
you, savor the zest of you, smell your scent
feel your passion, never spent ....moist
with thoughts of you, I wait...

Eileen, your work captures my heart. Such romance and essence. Your beautiful poetry. The music swept this masterful write into a moment of waiting. What more can I say except your writing sweeps me away my Dear.

I love the way this unfolded with your use of the colors of emotion against the powers of dusk, entering into the night where all the magic awaits...
waiting for dreams is a dream in itself...
Enjoyed!
Love and Peace~

The hardest part for an hour is the wait until it can escape from the prison of the clock.....or to wait until the passion arrives.
Well done.
