Some lovely times I can recall When grape has given its all It fills the senses with such bliss When first you taste its bouquet kiss A heady haze envelops the mind Warm and sensuous feelings wind Themselves around your emotions Making you flush with the notion Of becoming entwined with the vine So you can keep on feeling divine But when you walk around a winery Dressed up in your favorite finery You hope to make a good impression While to vintner you show discretion
LOL!! Yeah, you really don't want them to know that you are knackered or they may hold back on all those lovely free tastings. I absolutely adore Mendocino, Eileen, I believe it is about the most beautiful place on earth and I think my favorite of all the places I have visited on this planet...natural beauty and breathing that amazing air, shared with all those redwood trees takes on such a spiritual aura for some reason. Colorful write, thanks for the memory jar, makes me long to visit again soon.

Waldron's White - an upscale Chablis - the label designed by Creator - how about that! Discretion and moderation always...harvest season is almost here, Eileen...aged in an oak cask to pick up that earthy bouquet...I'll come back for a taste next year at this time...be well...Blessed Be.

Gallo was my poisen until it got too expensive. Carlo Rossi gets me in a mellow California mood now.

How divine, Eileen... devine, in fact! :)) Yes, I'm sorry, I really am this bad, even before my favourite tipple... As for that Vintner, well, I reckon he has a fair idea of what goes through his guests minds while they are eyeing up his delicious fare. And good job I wasn't with you... otherwise bang would go your good impression to say nothing of your discretion. If the gorgeous visual is anything to go by, this looks a little piece and taste of heaven on earth... And at least you can bottle yours: your "bottle it" comments on my Brain Wave made me smile... sadly, my Waves aren't permanent so I will be back to the old lank stuff before you know it!
