each day she watches from the shadows
as humanity races by, and she recedes
further into her hiding place, unable
to abide the human race, of which
she is a part,but no longer her heart
we have stood by while God's grace
was stolen from us without a trace
usurped by the wily non believers
with evil intent who are a disgrace
we have allowed them to make the
beauty of darkness their own,while
we show our fear of the unknown
they abscond with what is our right
while we give up without a fight, and
slip away quietly into our night,waiting
for the fearless one,who will save us
You know, Eileen, it does seem like society is waiting for a savior of sorts. I think this general feeling is part of why Obama was chosen. He was making promises of change, and we all feel as though we need that change to survive. Great poem of our times. Love and Hugs,

This is most sensitive and intuitive of what surrounds us today, but the fearless one will have to be each one of us, that is our test, let's see if we'll survive it, not here but in the paradise we are preparing for ourselves, otherwise we'll be damned to this hell forever, and the longer we wait, the more hell is created, I think this is what Jesus meant, when HE said follow me, and do as I do. shadow selves indeed roam rampart, however to wait for a savior is relinquishing of one's power. It is the self, us, me, you that has the light to succeed. God's strength works through you, not seperate from you :)
