Another Day in my life & Times
Sharing the goings on one day at a time…

We moved back home and life began,
So many things have happened and changed,
My husband was given the news that he had cancer,
went through his surgery and told he is great,
He busted the windsheild out of his new car,
Then building a Beach shack for me ,
fell off the roof and just about did himself in,
He’ll suffer for a long time yet.
Our daughter had a bad fall at work,
which results in Momma’s help a lot,
Wash & dry my hair, do my laundry,
make my bed, tie my shoes, do up my top,
Drive me here and there.
Doctor’s appointments in Halifax & Kentville,
Then the heater went in my car,
Fun trying to keep the windsheild clear.
In the mist of that, Elf Rosie pulled through
For dear old Santa Fee & Mrs. Claus.
The Doctor had me exrayed from my neck to lower back,
Says something has to be done with that upper spine,
I just looked at him with a big old smile and said,
Sorry Doc I just don’t have the time.
BIG Fundraiser Party happening here
on Saturday night for the needy in our town,
Come Sunday, I’ll need time to rest,
I hope at my computer I’ll be found.

I am really sorry for not being here to read your beautiful poetry & stories.
I know Mark I have a lot of catching up to do and I promise each of you
I will.
