Just as a child, I smile at the first snowflake as it sparkles in the air.

Just a Sparkle Nov.18,2018 By Rose Marie Rideout I lay and stare into the sky, Just as a child peaks above. To see a snowflake gently fall, Brings the magic of Christmas to all. Looking like stars filling the sky, Makes us so happy, brings a tear to our eye. Our hearts are filled with Love, As we gaze high up above. Just a little sparkle that fills the sky above, Fills our hearts with the true meaning of love. Gently we dream of Christmas Day, And all the magic to come our way We'll wake up so earlyas we always do, To see all the gifts under the tree. We must have been good all year, Because Santa left gifts for you and me. The turkey is cooking, it smells so good, Dinner will be the very best to eat. We'll play with our toys all day long, And greet all our friends as we meet.

Always something magical when we see that first snowflake of the winter. Up until Christmas, it's always beautiful sight. But by March, shoveling slush we find it no longer pleasant to see snow falling. ;-)
