What is it about a soldier's uniform?
Down through the ages
Whether armored or woolen,
Khaki, navy, or white,
The mystique it bears Infuses the bearer.
No tyrant or despot
With his decorative ribbons and medals
Can compare
To the simple soldier, or sailor,
In his fatigues or dress blues.
The uniform, properly worn,
Speaks eloquently,
Elegantly,
Of dignity, sacrifice, and true strength.
What is it about a soldier's uniform?
It's about heart.
It is always an indeed pleasure to read such fine well written artistic worksuch as this. I admire your strength and ability to put this together so with that said just write on poet.
