In times of war
And times of peace
There are those
Who make the ultimate sacrifice.
Most are unbearably young,
Some are older,
But all joined the military
Hoping to make a difference In their lives,
And in the lives of others.
In life
They bear our colors proudly;
In death
We honor them
With those same colors;
In blood or in spirit
They are family
And we feel their loss.

Brother, sister, friend:
