People tell me
How smart I am,
But if
They only knew!
Perhaps
When it comes
To "book smarts"
I can claim
Some measure
Of intelligence;
When it comes
To common sense,
However,
I rank right down there
With the lowly
Amoeba!
What other excuse
Can there be
For repeatedly putting myself
In stressful predicaments?
For doing things,
Over and over,
That shout to the world
How little sense
I really possess?
Oh well.
Tomorrow is
Another day,
Bringing with it
Another chance
For getting it all
Right!
I spent decades doing it all wrong. Work up one day and started doing things all right. Well, maybe I didn't do all thing all right, but enough that I didn't care if I missed ever so often.
The first sign of intelligence is to admit we're not smart would like to be. While I have all the accolades related to higher education and achievement, I seem very prone to the big mistake. I'm talking about “colossal misjudgments” that have often put me in great peril. The only thing that saves me is an immediate apology and correction, if possible. I guess it comes with the territory of my highly inquisitive and active mind, always trying out new things to see if they are better, and screwing up royally in the process.
This book chronicles an infinite allegoric odyssey of Absolute Awakening in which a learned man, a mute man, and a recluse woman are the principal players. The mute and the recluse are the learned one's Teachers and Guides on his journey of Enlighten
This combined narrative dialogue and play is about the uncreated, unborn and undying transcendent Self of God-consciousness and Buddha-nature. It describes an odyssey of transcendent Consciousness Awakening and Remembrance.
