Poem Artwork

I'm trying not
To give in
To the self pity
Prowling about
But sometimes
It's hard to know
What the emotions
Really are.
Is it a pity party
Or is it
A legitimate state
Of hurt and anger?
When one is bipolar
It can be either;
So you do the best you can
With what you have
And try your best
To work through it all
Without losing what's left
Of your self respect.

Good poetic reflection Rebecca. Prayer conquers all. Write down your request. Believe it true. Pray to Jesus Christ. You will be renewed. Amen

Great reflection of someone who has bipolar disease. Life can be a whirlwind of confusion for that person.
