I am remembering how
To appreciate beauty
In its purest
Sense.
I am remembering that
It is not always
Something obvious,
Rather
It is indefinable,
Something acknowledged
Only by the heart
And the spirit.
A plain face
Can glow
With radiance,
While a pretty face
Remains empty, hollow,
Possibly even derelict,
Unless lit from
Within by
A beautiful spirit;
Only then
Can it become
Exquisite.
So True,
beauty is not beautiful
as purity is within the heart and soul
where true beauty dwells, thanks for sharing

You make a great point in this poem and one so vary true. Beauty often is only skin deep; it's the spirit within, as you say, that shine out at us like light. Lovely.
