Fear
By La Belle Rouge

Fear is the thing that is fostered
When lies imitate love
Sometimes I realize how fragile
My soul became
The day he shattered my heart

So fragile, I will never give again
All I have to give
So broken, there is no thread
Strong enough to tie
Up the loose ends of my life

Fear is the thing that builds walls
And draws lines
On the sidewalks of my world
Lines no one can cross
Walls no one can ever hope to scale

Fear is the thing I tried to deny
Murderer of trust
Teacher of constant watchfulness
He is the reason I fear
But I’m unafraid to finally admit it

This is a good write and a experience of the past. The geatest force in the universe is love and nothing or no one can destroy it! My whole world was turned upside down but because I love sincerely with my whole heart like yourself we shall know love again. The Lord will send us someone worthy of our love! Peace!!!

Fear like anything else has it's place and must be kept under control. The first step is always to find the source of something to resolve it. Good write.

Stay well and keep writing

Fear is a terrible place to live, one must release fear and replace it with hope and joy. To live in fear is to live as a prisoner of their own existence. I only pray that this is not about you.
It is good to see you on the den again, please don't be away so long.
Much love, light and peace dear Belle,

True so true, yet one day those walls will crumble! Fear is the destroyers of heart, mind and soul that leaves one walking through life with blinders on, blind to see they are their own worst enemy.

Photo and music befitting of these words poignantly, truthfully well writ!

Sometimes people treat people like they were just dolls hanging on strings to do what the puppeteer master's whims wanted to, disregarding feelings and pain given because the master is counting, take it for granted that fear will hold the doll in line and under his thumb.
But, people living in fear can sometimes when it has been for so long, rebel, raise up and using the same string that were holding it bringing down the puppeteer with the mighty strength born from hate.

LaBelle we all feel that way once our heart has been shattered. It took me seven years to let myself accept the love Fred had to offer me, thank God above for giving me what it took to trust my heart with him. Thank you for sharing.

LaBelle,
Very real, all too real, in emotion, but as Regis says honest and therefore cathartic. This is well said.

Well written Belle. Very sad; but you need to take down those walls. True happiness does await you but you need to let it find you. God bless.

The writing is beautifully done; altho I do think that many "young" people go thru this in the beginning...then they must realize that they have to stay up about themselves...there will be another...and hopefully he/she will be the "one".... This disappointment happens all thru the ages...so your words are valid in many ways... Glad to see you posting! hugs, lindalaw

Great pen Belle, but throwing up defences will only keep someone true from finding the real you. And a real treasure they'll find. Take care.
