there are words hard-labored, birthed
from a womb filled only with your seed
a fleshly womb? no nothing that ordinary
poetry gestated in the core of my spirit
well nurtured with our blended life blood
inhaling love we breathed into existence
in private universe formed by lucid dreams
you, still my greatest joy, deepest sorrow
an anguish that has never ceased to stab
with murderous intent, each sweet reverie
that rears its head above aching emptiness
of distances I can find no bridge to span
a cold place deep within my fractured spirit
encases the decaying remains of dead hope
but it is only a small corner of my habitat
last summer roses still bloom in rich earth
on trellises of memory in multihued Autumn
orchestrated by wisdom, love songs still play
and when the snows of Winter drift deep
against my door, I’ll warm by home’s hearth
still burning with remembrance of your love
Belle, love is doubtless an intangible and the most difficult of psycho sensual experiences for us to elucidate -- but here, in this work, you have touched upon the essence of it -- only a heart filled with passion and a soul filled with compassion could make that reach -- this will occupy a place in my library -- I bid you joy love and peace my dear friend -- Jon Michael

Belle, We remember all the good and try to forget the
bad, but somehow the bad and the good get mixed and it
turns out better than we could have ever planed.
