Keep me in your prayers--now on top of my Fibro acting up, have a pinched nerve in my neck and left arm...
I close my eyes And climb upon an eagle's wings Hoping he'll take me far from here Where life's problems and other things Keep me earthbound by strands of fear
I close my eyes Ask a passing cloud for a ride To anywhere that's free from pain There's no shelter where I can hide I'm forced to face it once again
I close my eyes I'm imprisoned by iron hands I struggle, but cannot get free Pain clamps me down with rigid bands My eyes burst from the agony
I close my eyes And ask God if He really cares Sometimes, I think He ignores me I wonder if He hears my prayers Does He enjoy my agony
I close my eyes And wish they would stay closed for good But with the morn, I rise once more I go on, like I knew I could But damn, I'm tired, I implore
Oh Karla, the more I read the more I want to take this pain from you. This horrible experience has achieved only one thing and that is that you have written such amazing poetry. I am in awe of you being able to do so under such circumstances. I have had some experience of what you are going through (but not exactly the same) and I know how hard it is just to function never mind to be creative as well. I believe in my heart you will get through precious girl. My heartfelt prayers are with you... Chanti
Yes Karla, He hears you, and no He doesn't enjoy your pain. I know sometimes it may feel that way.
He never gives us more than we can handle!
I will pray for you, Lisa
I echo the sentiments of prayer Karla ..I will pray for your recovery from illness and depression..we have all been there...only to be rescued by the Saviour of the World..Again and Again

A very heartfelt write that comes straight from within, i pray and i know He hears me that you find life a lot easier from here on in, you deserve all the love that comes your way, take good care my friend, may God bless you and yours...Mark xx
If I could just take away a fraction of the pain you are experiencing, I WOULD, believe you me, but I am NOT God. Only He can do that (or a doctor)! Please don't give up hope; it hurts me when you hurt, and it hurts when you say that He has given up on you! He HASN'T, and you have GOT to believe that! Powerful, heartshattering write; I pray things get better for you soon!
