Lord, I don't understand something and it's bugging me. They say You won't give us anything more than we can bear. I've been in pain for so long, I have since forgotten what it's like NOT to hurt. And now this. Pinched nerve in neck and arm. It is getting on my LAST damn nerve. (I'm sorry for the cuss.) It's just that I'm tired.
Don't I have enough pain as it is? Arthritis. Low back pain. Degenerative disc disease. Sciatica. Let's throw in Fibromyalgia for added fun. ENOUGH IS enough--I'm tired, Lord, so, so tired. I can't sleep. Tylenol and Motrin don't even begin to cut the pain. Insurance-- Nope. Don't have it. Money? Nope. None of that. (Think it's green.)
A doctor won't even SEE you unless you have it. Hospitals charge an arm and leg (and half another limb) if you go to the Emergency Room--and forget prescriptions. So tired. I'm not you--I can't--I don't even want to--imagine what it was when you took mankind's sins onto Yourself. I'm not that strong, Lord...can You please give me relief????
My heart goes out to you. i was in so much pain after a head on collision which 16 years later and i feel sorry for myself because of pains in left hand side of my body that never go away until my brother broke his neck in fall, is already partially blind now in intensive care unit for 4 months and i wrote a poem coincidentally so tired about a stupid romance that went wrong. really i am so tired of life but when i see his struggle to survive and read about your pain i feel ashamed i do not appreciate the little things. i hope the little things like sunshine, wind, smiles distract you from your pain. i wish america had a National health service like england where they care for the sick no matter the size of their wallet. it seems so unfair so much suffering. God bless you and remember "footprints" the lord will carry you when you are Too Tired and give you strength. Meanwhile never stop hoping and looking and believing for a miracle. God helps those that ask. "knock ..."

Gosh, I am really feeling with you.
You must be going through hell.
Isn't there anything that might help you get better?
Dearest Karla, I read your other pain poem before I read this and after this one I am left without doubt. You you are in severe pain. I feel for you so much and wish there was something I could do for you personally. Please accept my prayers for what they are worth. I've survived cancer and I know you will get through this too. Warm loving thoughts coming your way... Chanti
I wish I could help you, but I can't; I make even less than you! It is so frustrating when nobody will help you when you need it; the rich get all the breaks, the poor or middle class get screwed big time! It doesn't make sense! So sorry you are hurting; if I oculd take away some of the pain, believe me I WOULD, but I am NOT God!
Heartwrenching write; I am praying harder than ever for you!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your twin, Karen Lynn. :( >tears <
Darling, brave Karla! How this deeply moves and pains me to see and feel something of your anguish. I can so identify with your tiredness, low resistance and vulnerability... I nearly died through a rampant undiagnosed immune-system disease which was attacking my whole body 14 years' ago (almost to the day)... it presents in much the same way as you describe here, but I can't say that I had so much pain as you suggest and not the added problem of degenerative discs... I WAS a complete mess, though!! My personal breakthrough came when, instead of feeling sore at God for letting me go through this - and me a Christian too!!!!! - I realised that my faith was being undermined by temptations to doubt - like poor old Job, I guess. The moment I "hid myself in God", I found that words of faith and encouragement came, I experienced his presence like nothing I'd ever felt before - and ultimately - after a lot of touch and go because I was very nearly "fading away" - a miracle came and I was, as it were, raised up off a "near-death" bed. The medics were confounded because they had not a clue what was up with me and no way of holting my demise, so it seemed. I still live with a residue of problems that have been as a direct result of this illness, but don't suffer it as the serious, "just got to live with it"- thing that was the doctors prognosis for me. And I'm not on any kind of medication at all. I am telling you this as my personal experience, Karla, to encourage you and not to in any way challenge or tell you what's right for you - I'm sure you've faithfully been treading your own path with God on this one, day in, day out. But, today, I shall be upholding you before Him on my understanding that GOD IS GOOD! This might seem like the direct opposite, maybe, for you right now, but I shall stand in the gap for you like one of the four friends who brought the guy on the stretcher to Jesus. Your lovely friends below have made some suggestions as to what might yet help you - my own addition to this list would be to get alongside Christians who believe and pray for miraculous healing and who would not only look at the medical side, but maybe "the you" as a whole person- thing, that the Lord sees, to see whether there may be a trigger point that you have not been aware of that the Lord can reveal and heal. It is also my experience that physical misfunctions and malaise are often the "fruit" of the need for healing in other spiritual or emotional areas. It was the case for me. Only the Lord knows, I guess, but my love and prayers are with you. Whatever your trauma in life - and God knows we all have them! - Jesus can remove it by His Spirit. Sorry for this general outpouring, hope you don't mind... but this comes to you with love, dear Sister. MIRACLES DO HAPPEN, Karla, honest... Kate xx

Karla, I got to admit that Sandie has a good point, magnetics I have been told DO help others...if you need a magnetic bracelet and cannot afford it I will see what I can find to send down to you! You have my email address, just let me know, and I will see what can be done...
I have a friend who has disc problems, as do I, and he uses just a bracelet and has had really phenomenal results...what could it hurt, could your pain get any worse...?
you know-without this poem-we would not realize the inner struggle
you experience on a daily basis
your energies are always so positive and so full of aspiration,
i hate to think that through strife comes the character of the soul,
but poets are said to have their share of strife, hence their
strength of wisdom
Just for the information, my mom wears a kind of shiny black stone that has magnetic force. The stone is not black onyx, but is of a shiny greyish-black. I'm not sure what it is called. The magnetic force of this type of stone has helped her to feel better about her arthritis. They're only cheap. She got that from the chinatown here in Toronto, only cost her $3.00 for the bracelet, and $5.00 for the necklace. It works great after she puts them on. The magnetic force in this type of stone has made her arthritis better. You might want to try that too.
