There is much power in my ink,
As I autograph the clouds--
You shan't forget me, mark my words!
I shall hurl them at the crowds--

I write with lightning's dreaded flash!
Words strike once, twice, and again--
There is no hope of stopping me,
When I get the urge to pen--

I write with raindrops in my eyes,
The paper is wringing wet--
Tears burst forth in a raging flood,
The storm is not over, yet--

I write with thunder!  Hear it roar!
You shall remember my name--
You shall never forget the sound
Of a Muse, slightly insane--

I write with tornadic fury,
Ejecting prose from within--
There's no place to escape my words
As before you, poems spin--
